Perhaps cook would not have guessed that the iPhone 7, which was released last year, was better than the iPhone 8.

On the iPhone 8, apple took a new A11 chip this year with a 6 core design, running out of the GeekBench: single-core 4000 +, multi-core 10,000 + points, far away from qualcomm's flagship snapdragon 835.

The iPhone 7 is powered by the A10 chip, which features a 4 core design and a built-in 6 core graphics processor.

The iPhone 6s is powered by apple's third-generation 64-bit chip, and the last of its dual-core A9 chips. Not only that, apple has added the Nvme flash memory protocol, MIMO dual wi-fi, and the performance of the iPhone 6 in addition to the first built-in 2GB of storage on the iPhone 6s.
